Acting & Musical Theatre (formerly known as KPAC)
This once-a-month, three-hour acting and musical theatre class is taught by Beth Dunnington, director of the Kahilu Youth Troupe. This is a comprehensive method acting class that includes monologue work (contemporary and classical), musical theatre songs, theatre games, and thought-provoking improvisation. Now in its fifteenth year at Kahilu, this class teaches acting as a craft; students learn how to approach an acting role and/or a song in a process that’s fun, challenging, and collaborative. Ohana is invited to the final class to watch students perform the pieces they’ve been working on during the semester.
This class will meet on the following dates:
Sunday, 9/28; Saturday, 10/25; Saturday, 11/22; Sunday, 12/7
