ShakeScenes for Teens (#BardLife)
Dive into the drama, comedy, and wit of Shakespeare in this energetic acting class for teens! Students will explore scenes and monologues from the Bard’s most famous works, learning how to unlock the power of his language and connect it to real emotions and modern life. Through voice, movement, and stage combat exercises, actors will build confidence and sharpen their performance skills while discovering that Shakespeare’s stories are as relevant (and fun!) today as ever.
Scholarships are available by applying online after completing the online registration. The scholarship application is found at the bottom of the registration confirmation form, which will be emailed to the applicant. If the scholarship application is approved, the class fee is $30.
Tuition for the course is $160 plus a $6.00 registration fee for each applicant.
Class size is limited, and students are accepted on a first come first served basis.
Please note there will be no class the week of October 6, 2025.
