(ages 11+)

Dive into more complex avenues of being on the aerial silks. This is for students who have trained for at least 3 years, and are ready to mature their skills. Explore more strength based skills and wraps, that require high level mind/body awareness. Inverted climbs, split poses/sequences, drops... this is where you take the leap from hobby to gaining expertise. Students will work on building longer sequences, with the intention of building performance ready moments. With a focus on fine-tuning the transitions between familiar moves into more advanced skills you will be learning! Students should come into this class with an understanding that repetition and conditioning is the best friend of being an Aerial Silks Artist. 

Prerequisites:

• Complete level 2, and have teacher approval to move up
• Be able to climb entire silk with Fancy Russian, Bicycle Russian, and Traditional Bicycle
• Hip key with no issue
• Know how to complete hip key and foot lock spins 
• Know how to complete 3 of 4; Cupid, Russian Seat, 360 drop, or one Belay sequence 
• Dancer foot locks from split fabrics
• Safely invert with split fabrics 
• Safely and properly hold yourself on the silk for at least 2 minutes, connecting at least three sequences with no direction. 

Scholarships are available by applying online after completing the online registration.  The scholarship application is found at the bottom of the registration confirmation form, which will be emailed to the applicant.  The scholarship application is fee is $24 plus a $6 registration fee for each applicant.

Tuition for the course is $276 plus a $6 registration fee for each applicant.

Class size is limited, and students are accepted on a first come first served basis.
