Description

Backstage Boot Camp – Build the Set. Run the Lights & Sound. Make the Magic Happen.


June 1 - June 5 with performances on June 27 & June 28

Dive into the foundations of stagecraft with set building, scenic painting, and lighting design. Students will work hands-on to construct and transform the stage environment, learning the tools and techniques that create the world of the show.

Students will be building sets, props and puppets for The Lightning Thief – The Percy Jackson Musical. 


This camp starts from Monday, June 1 and goes through Friday, June 5.  Performances will take place on June 27 & June 28. Camp classes start at 10:00 am through 4:00 pm; Monday through Friday.  Ages for camp are from 12 through 18.  Tuition is $600.00 per person plus a registration fee of $6.00, with scholarships available.

Apply for your scholarship after you have completed registration for the camp.  You will be sent an email confirmation of your registration.  At the bottom of this confirmation, there will be a link for you to complete the scholarship application; online. Deadline for submission of your scholarship application is Tuesday, May 19 by 5:00 pm. Awards will be announced on a rolling basis starting Tuesday, May 26 through June 25 via email.  Each scholarship applicant needs to complete their own separate application.

If a class/camp does not have sufficient enrollment to go forward, we reserve the right to cancel the class/camp.

  • Two weeks prior to the first day, we will notify families via email that enrollment is low and the class/camp may be cancelled. Families are encouraged to recruit friends to join in the fun so that we can have enough enrollment to move forward.
  • One week prior to the first day, a class/camp with low enrollment will be cancelled, and families notified via email. If there is space in other classes or camps, we will happily transfer the student, otherwise, a full refund will be provided.

If something unforeseen occurs which prohibits the class/camp from taking place, we reserve the right to cancel the class/camp. We will notify families as early as possible, and a full refund will be provided.
